Flying Chair - Hardcore gaming

Here is an interesting video you might be interested in or entertained by, if you have not already came across it. This is called hardcore gamer, a home made fun chair (claimed in video description) and yet you think you are a hardcore gamer. It looks like a lot of fun. This must be some of you have dreamed of... yeah that's right, and some one already did that. what's your approach, do want to try if had a chance to do so, I bet you do. I don't know what the hell that thing is called, a 'fun chair' or a 'motion chair' but I would call it a 'flying chair', because that's how I see it. Lets check out the video

That's not it. CKAS "Thruxim" Motion and Motion Simulator is among them. First CKAS motion... description from it's website states;

The CKAS W3s 6DOF Motion System (pictured below - computer shown for size comparison only) features a mere 200kg total weight, 1160mm total width, and sits only 360mm high, therefore eliminating the need for any specialised stair or gangway for stepping up onto it. CKAS has used the knowledge it has developed for the heavier motion systems to design this unit, incorporating industry leading electronics, encoders and actuators. The expected life of the W3s is extremely high for its price point, and the maintenance requirements are minimal, especially important in commercial or consumer based applications.  The target market of the CKAS W3s 6DOF Motion System can be any of the following single seater applications:

  • Small Scale Compact High Fidelity Flight Training Devices for Commercial and Military applications
  • Small Scale High Fidelity Commercial Vehicle and Truck Driver Training Simulators
  • Small Scale High Fidelity Mining Equipment Simulators and Heavy Earth Moving Equipment Simulators
  • Small Scale High Fidelity Train Driver Simulators
  • Next Generation Unsupervised Coin-operated Motion Simulator Arcade Machines
  • Home Built High Fidelity Flight Simulators
  • Home Built High Fidelity Car Racing Simulators

As alsways, you can check out the video... make sure to share your views in a comment section. What what are your thoughts on this
